Valentine Przybylski, aged 71, of 2414 West Ford street, died in his home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock following two months illness. Born in Poland, Jan. 28, 1862, he came to South Bend from that country 42 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Marcianna, and eight children, Mrs. Rose Lodyga, of Etna Green, Ind.; Mrs. Frances Ratajczak, of St, Joseph, Mich.; Mrs. Hattie Orlowska, Mrs. Sophie Rengielska, Mrs. Verna Kurdys, Walter, Louis and Casimir, all of South Bend; three sisters, Mrs. Marianna Luczynska, Mrs. Magdalena Czerwinska and Miss Susan, all of Poland; 21 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The body may be viewed in the residence, the funeral taking place Monday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Adalbert's Roman Catholic church. The requiem mass will be sung by the Right Rev. Mgr. John W. Osadnik, pastor. Burial will be in St. Joseph Polish cemetery.
