LAGUNA HILLS, CA - Henry Joseph Grew, 93, formerly of South Bend, passed away peacefully with family present at 12:25 pm Saturday, August 23, 2014, in Laguna Hills, CA. Henry was born July 18, 1921, in South Bend, to the late Joseph and Martha (Michalski) Grus-zczynski. Henry married his beloved wife, Helen Lucille Meszaros, and she preceded him in death on Dec. 22, 1996. Survivors include daughters, Anita (Aric) Gless of Irvine, CA, Laura M. Maguire of Phoenix, AZ; and son, Paul M. (Emily) Grey of Knoxville, TN; a sister, Dorothy Zimmerlee of Wisconsin; and grandchildren, Steven, Dave, Bryan (Miranda), Patrick and Gregory. Henry was a supervisor with Studemaker/Allied Products for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Henry was an avid Notre Dame fan. Henry's children feel a huge loss and will be missed. A Catholic Commital Service will be celebrated on Friday, August 29, 2014, at 1:00 pm in the cemetery chapel at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 24980 S.R. #2, South Bend, IN.
