SOUTH BEND - Daniel W. Wisniewski, 68, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2010, in his residence. Daniel was born on January 12, 1942, in South Bend, to the late Walter and Helen (Sniadecki) Wisniewski. He was also preceded in death by his son, Brian Wisniewski, in February 1991. On June 30, 1962, he married Dolores A (Pocza) in South Bend, who survives along with their three children, Ann Marie (Timothy) Reed of South Bend, Daniel J. (Mary Beth) Wisniewski of South Bend and Todd (Brigitte) Wisniewski of Shelby Township, MI; two grandchildren, Jason (Kelly) Wisniewski of South Bend and Craig Wisniewski of South Bend. Dan was a quality control specialist throughout his lifetime. He loved fishing on the lake, the outdoors, and enjoyed spending time with his kids and dogs. He enjoyed working security. Dan was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. Dan served his country in the United States Army and was a member of American Legion Post 357. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on today, Nov. 11, 2010, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, in Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made at Holy Family Catholic Church, 56405 Mayflower Road, South Bend, IN 46619.
