SOUTH BEND - Rosemary T. Budd, 86, passed away at 12:20 p.m. Sunday, September 12, 2010, in Miller's Merry Manor, LaGrange. Rosemary was born on April 3, 1924, in South Bend, to Victor and Rose (Frederick) Vukovits. Rosemary was employed by Studebaker at Plant 8, Bendix, Price-Waterhouse and Barnaby's. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. Rosemary enjoyed gardening and bowling, and especially loved being a mother and grandmother. Surviving are a son, Victor (Vicki) Budd of Sturgis, MI, a stepson, Richie (Deborah) Barron of Rancho Cordoba, CA; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Christopher) Stilwell and Kristen Budd; three great-grandchildren, Chelsie, Ashley and Alexis; and a brother, Jack V. (Mary Lou) Vukovits of North Liberty. She was preceded in death by a stepson, Jack Budd, and a brother, John (Helen) Vukovits. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2010, in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Family and friends may call two hours prior to services in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
