Manuel V . Rebello Sr., 70, of 854 Arcade Ave., Seekonk a wire tester for the former Washburn Wire Co., East Providence, for 33 years before retiring in 1978, died Tuesday at Roger Williams General Hospital. He was the husband of Mary Elizabeth (Motta) Rebello . Born in Seekonk, he was a son of the late Antonio V . and Emma (White) Rebello . Mr. Rebello was a member of the Holy Ghost Beneficial Brotherhood, East Providence. Besides his wife he leaves five daughters, Barbara Jean Bankston and Mary Ann Barboza, both of Niles, Mich., Dorothy L. Troll of Providence, Nancy J. Watson of Pawtucket and Mary Elizabeth Rebello of Seekonk; a son, Manuel V . Rebello Jr. of Pawtucket; two sisters, Emma Coelho of Providence and Mary Edins of Seekonk; a brother, Eugene Rebello of Seekonk; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral was held Saturday from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Ave., East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Taunton Avenue, Seekonk.. Burial followed in Seekonk Cemetery.
