OSCEOLA, IN - Andrew P. Blasko, 94, of Osceola, IN passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020. He was born on June 24, 1926 to the late John and Theresa (Szollosy) Blasko in Mishawaka, IN. On his 30th birthday, June 24, 1956, he married Suesanna Grossnickle. Andrew and Suesanna shared 56 years of marriage until her passing on February 18, 2013. Andrew had a great sense of humor and worked hard to provide for his family. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the V.F.W. Post 360. In addition to his parents and wife's passing, he was the youngest of 12 siblings who preceded him in death: Margarita, John Jr., Mike, Charlie, Joe, Tony Sr., and Frank Blasko, Helen Mandich, Rose Hall, Anna Petsovich, and Mary “Muncie” Sweeney; along with his daughter, Sue Blasko and granddaughter, Stacey Blasko. Andrew is survived by his two sons, John Blasko of Mishawaka, IN and Tom Blasko of Granger, IN; five grandchildren, Johnny Blasko, Taeah (Dan) Radkey, Andy, Bethany and Katie Blasko, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2020 at 11AM in Chapel Hill Memory Gardens, 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN 46561. Father Jacob Meyer of St. Monica will preside, with Military Honors. Memorial contribution made in Andrew's memory may be made to St. Monica Church, 222 W. Mishawaka Ave., Mishawaka, IN 46545.
