South Bend - Laureen Marie Michalski, 66, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021. Laureen was born January 8, 1955 in South Bend to the late Albert and Eleanor (Andrzejewski) Mays. She is also preceded in death by her son, Jason Michalski and brother, Terry Mays. Left to cherish the memory of Laureen is her loving husband of 47 years, Brian Michalski, and their sons, Adam Michalski, Joey (Sarah) Michalski; grandchildren, Austin Michalski, Alexis Michalski, Braydin Michalski; great-grandchildren, Azazel Michalski, Zaiyan Michalski, Kailee Taylor, Zoee Michalski; sisters, Noreen Ingle, Kathleen Gregory; brother, Timothy Mays; niece, Jill Van Lew; and best-friend, Sandy Hamann. Laureen was a graduate of LaSalle High School. She worked for K-Mart, L&M, then retired from SAFY after 12+ years of employment. She was a loving, caring wife, mother, and grandmother. The time she could spend with her family brought her the most joy, especially time with her grandchildren. Laureen will be forever loved and greatly missed. Visitation for Laureen will be 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm Saturday, November 20, 2021 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. with a Funeral Service to begin at 3:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.
