Emil Joseph Doczy, 95, of Palm Bay, Florida, died Friday, July 23, 2021. He was born on Feb. 20, 1926, in South Bend, Indiana, to Emil and Ethel (Kesek) Doczy.He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Helen; brothers Dan, Joseph, Louis, and Paul; and daughter Karalie Brown. He is survived by his loving wife, Bernice, and children Debi (Victor) Couch, Gregg Snyder, William (Dorothy) Doczy, Jeff (Stephanie) Doczy and Laura (Curt) Bryant. Also surviving are grandchildren Debbie, Eddie, Brian, Dawn, Denice, Vincent, Stephanie, Holli, Marshall and John, and many great-grandchildren. Emil owned two businesses in his life, Demco and Elkhart Enterprise. Emil loved to fish, sail his sailboat on Eagle Lake where he lived for a long time. He loved snowmobiling and he had a passion for flying. He always had a quick smile and a kind word. He was deeply loved by so very many people. He sole purpose in life was helping other people. He was always humble and kind. A celebration of life will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on Aug. 14 at Our Lady of the Lake Social Hall in Edwardsburg, Michigan.
