SOUTH BEND - Joan M. "Judy" Kazmierczak, 74, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 9:42 p.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2006, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. Judy was born on August 7, 1932, in South Bend, to Frank and Lucille (Kosnowski) Kominowski, both of whom preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Juanita and Margaret Kominowski. On November 26, 1953, in South Bend, as Joan M. Kominowski, she married Gerald Jerry Kazmierczak, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Sharon (Larry) Dippel of Summerfield, NC; two sons, John (Laurie) Kazmierczak of Big Rock, IL, and Bill (Cathy) Kazmierczak of South Bend, IN; ten grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, Angela and Ashley Kazmierczak of Big Rock IL, Erin, Nicholas, Andrew and Evan Dippel of Summerfield, NC, and Michael and Samantha Kazmierczak of South Bend, IN; two sisters, Mary Rose (Chester) Kubiak of South Bend, IN, and Doris (Larry) Treber of Niles, MI; and two brothers, Conrad (Elaine) Kominowski of Fountain Hill, AZ, and Frank (Mary) Kominowski of Martinsville, IN. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony De Padua Church.
