SOUTH BEND - Martha V. Tobolski, 88, passed away on Saturday, July 10th, in the Sanctuary at St. Joseph in South Bend. Martha was born October 6, 1921, in Poland, to Michael and Marcella (Strzelscki) Adamek. She had been employed with Bantam Bering Corporation as an inspector, and at the Bungalow Pie Company. On June 28, 1947, Martha married Bert Tobolski, who preceded her in death on August 2, 1990. Surviving are a daughter, Diane (David) Pletcher of South Bend; a son, Michael Tobolski of South Bend; grandchildren, David J. "D.J.", Brian and Joan Pletcher; a great-grandson, Eric Lamont Davis Jr.; a great- granddaughter, Olivia Davis; and a sister, Clementine "Clemy" Nowak of South Bend. A brother, Joseph Adamek and a sister, Theresa Kwaniewski, preceded her in death. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 14th, in St. Joseph Catholic Church in South Bend, where friends may call an hour prior to the Mass. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Martha was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Parish. Martha Adamak passed away Saturday July 10,2010 at 10:00 pm in South Bend Indiana she was the wife of Bert Tobolski who passed away in 1988 and left behind 2 children. Diane Marie Pletcher and Michael Tobolski along with 3 grand children and 3 great grand children Martha was born in October of 1921. Hope this helps someone in there searches.
