Rosemarie “Honey” Walsh of Granger, Indiana, formerly of Butler passed away Friday June 15, 2018 at St Joseph Regional Hospital in South Bend, Indiana.Honey graduated from Butler High School with the Class of 1966. She married her high school sweetheart, Tom, and they spent 47 years together before his death in 2016. While living in Butler she was employed at Butler Memorial Hospital and Perkins Restaurant. Honey’s favorite job was working at Dito Swiss Bakery in South Bend. She always had a smile on her face and developed friendships with customers and coworkers. She was a member of St. Pius Roman Catholic Church in Granger, Indiana and a former member of St. Paul Church in Butler. Honey was a loving, caring person who always put family first. She loved making and selling crafts and creative writing. She volunteered as an usher at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center at Notre Dame, Indiana. She is survived by her mother, Mary, her two sons, Timothy and Daniel, her grandson, Austin, her two sisters Chris (Kim) Rensel and Martha (Robert) Cawthorne and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband and father. Visitation for Rosemarie Walsh who died Friday, June 15, 2018 will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Paul Church, 128 North McKean Street, Butler. Interment to follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
