SOUTH BEND - Vincent L. Piotrowski, 70, of South Bend passed away Friday in his home. He was born on September 8, 1942 in South Bend to the late Vincent, Sr. and Louise V. (Kaczmierak) Piotrowski and was a lifelong area resident. After graduating high school, he attended Ball State University. He is survived by his mother; two brothers, Jack of Granger and Dean (Rene') of Bedford, TX; and by two nieces, Alisha (Jeremy) Fickle and Kristen (Jon) Ragan. Vincent retired from AM General in 2004; he also worked for the U.S. Post Office. Mr. Piotrowski was in the U.S. Army Reserves and was a member of AMVETS in Niles, MI and the Clay Democratic Club. He was an avid fisherman, Notre Dame football and IU basketball fan. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Tuesday in Christ the King Catholic Church.
