South Bend - Ronald “Turk” Ciesielski, 76, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, December 31, 2021. Ron was born November 6, 1945 in South Bend to the late Chester and Virginia (Turczynski) Ciesielski. He is also preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Ciesielski. Left to cherish the memory of Ron is his wife, Carol (Lewis) Ciesielski, along with children, Steve (Traci) Ciesielski, Chet (Kerry) Ciesielski, Barbie (Steve) Gruler, Jennifer (Joaquin) Garza, Robert (Julea) Ciesielski; and daughter-in-law, Karen Ciesielski. Ron enjoyed all sports but mostly baseball in which he was a standout player, he also played pool for many years. He was a simple man who loved his family. He was the best father and husband that he could be and more. Ron adored his dog Rosie who he loved very much. Visitation for Ron will be 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday, January 3, 2022 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
