SOUTH BEND - Dolores O. Ihde, age 89, of South Bend, passed away on Monday, October, 10, 2016, at Woodridge Assisted Living in South Bend surrounded by family. Dolores was born on March 24, 1927, in Berwyn, Illinois, to the late Joseph and Marie (Vacik) Ihde, Sr. Dolores had many special gifts. She always found a silver lining and never failed to turn a frown upside down. She had a kind heart and always helped those in need. Dolores leaves to cherish her memory her brothers, Ronald Ihde of Hodgkins, IL, and Ray Ihde and his wife, Sandra of Downers Grove, IL. Dolores will rest alongside her dog Tashi at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL. Services and interment will be private. Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, South Bend, is assisting the family.
