Mishawaka-Linda L. Canarecci, 70, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.Linda was born on May 18, 1945 in Mishawaka to Lewis and Dorothy (Parker) Sawyer. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Arthur Johnson. On July 22, 1972 in Mishawaka, she married John Canarecci Jr. Surviving are her husband, John; children, Diane (Dennis) Andrzyurski and Patrick (Jessica) Canarecci and a stepdaughter, Cheryl Canarecci all of South Bend; five grandchildren; a sister, Sue Ann Lawall of Mishawaka and a brother, Tom Sawyer of Dallas, TX. Linda was in Child Care for 12 years and then was a care giver for six years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, movies, and music and loved animals. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 1 from 3 to 7 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Wednesday, March 2 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Terry Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
