Norbert Cholewczynski, 75, Venice, died April 15, 2004. He was born Sept. 2, 1928, in South Bend, Ind., and came to Venice from there in 1993. He owned Last Stop Liquor Store in South Bend for 30 years. He was a member of the University Club of Notre Dame, Elks Lodge of Englewood, the Eagles, and Epiphany Cathedral. Survivors include his wife, Rita; daughters Janice Cunningham of Venice and Judy Jankowski of South Bend; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Epiphany Cathedral. Burial will follow in Venice Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial services will be later in South Bend. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Florida, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238; or to American Cancer Society, 2100 S. Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL 34293.
