SOUTH BEND - Joseph Gendel, 81, passed away Monday, July 9, in his home. Survivors include his wife, Elaine; his children, Deborah, Laura, Sandra Ohana, Mark Barry and Jolie Gendel; sisters, Yetta Harris and Essie Epstein; and five grandchildren. Services and burial were held Tuesday afternoon at the Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery, Mishawaka. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hebrew Orthodox Synagogue, 3207 High St., South Bend 46614. McGann Hay Funerals Cremations Gatherings handled arrangements.
