Casimer S. Gapinski, 83, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Wednesday June 1, 2022. He was born on June 6, 1939 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Casimer F. and Clara (Zalas) Gapinski. On May 1, 1976 he married Patricia D. Rzeszewski who survives. Casimer is also survived by three daughters, Rebecca (JohnStowell, Robin McKinney, Adrienne (Sunny) Williams, one son, Ronald Gapinski, seven Grandchildren, Jennifer, Sarah, Joshua, Christopher, Cody, Caitlyn and Roman. Five great grandchildren, Payton, Calli, Ace, Ledger and Camylla, three sisters, Barbara Huston, Rita (Darcey) Fields and Felicia (Jack) Cochran, and many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. Along with his parents Casimer was also preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Donald Huston and one daughter-in-law, Kim Gapinski. Casimer was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday June 10, 2022 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church at 11:00 am. A memorial visitation will be held for one hour prior to the mass at the church.
