Allen Viduka, 43, residing in Mishawaka, IN passed away at 3:35 PM Thursday, June 14, 2012 in his home. Allen was born on November 5, 1968 in South Bend, IN to Allen G., Sr. and Eileen T. (Zubler) Viduka and has remained a lifelong resident. Following family tradition, Allen served in the United States Navy from 1987 - 1991 serving in Desert Storm and Desert Shield as a sonar tech operator upon the USS Mobile Bay and CG53. Allen was a member of St. Anthony dePadua Catholic Church, South Bend. He published two books, On the Edge of Reality of Life and Victory - The Battle for Europe. Allen was an avid bowler, loved animals and spending time with his nephew. He was a very kind and generous soul. Allen is survived by his parents, Allen and Eileen Viduka; his brother, Randy W. Viduka, Sr.; and nephew, Randy W. Viduka, Jr. all of Mishawaka; grandparents, Glenn and Patricia W. Zubler of South Bend; and several aunts, uncle, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave, South Bend. Military graveside services and burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Monday in the funeral home.
