SOUTH BEND - Frank A. Andrysiak, 85, passed away at 11:55 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, in Memorial Hospital. Frank was born on July 2, 1922, in South Bend, to the late Peter and Agnes (Cholacz) Andrysiak. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Helen Bradley and Pearl Zielinksi; and by brothers, Bert, John and Joseph. Surviving Frank are sisters, Bertha Kusz, Mary (Ollie) Knudson and Regina Becchelli, all of South Bend; a sister-in-law, Betty Andrysiak; 12 nieces and nephews. Frank served in the United States Army during World War II. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4 p.m. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. For those unable to attend the funeral liturgy, condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
