SOUTH BEND - Yvonne M. Lentz, 67, of South Bend, passed away on Sunday, July 1, at Memorial Hospital, after an extended illness. On August 21, 1950, Yvonne was born to the late Raymond P. and Loretta M. (Janik) Kruszewski in South Bend. Yvonne married the love of her life, Richard C. Lentz on November 8, 1974, in South Bend. Dick passed away on November 25, 2015. She is survived by her daughters, Lori Berta of Granger, Heather Lentz of Indianapolis, and Gretchen Lentz of Niles, MI; son, Tom Cabanaw of South Bend; and stepsons, Thomas (Tina) Lentz of MI, Todd (Dayna) Lentz of North Liberty, and Troy (Shellie) Lentz of Mishawaka. Yvonne was very proud to be the grandmother of all her grandchildren, Paige, Malik, McKenzie, Maddie, Adam, Braxton, Baleigh, Marigrace, Mason, Taylor, Hannah, Nick, Ali, Brendon, and Christian; and great-grandchildren, Brason and Sieanna. Also surviving is her sister, Joyce (Shannon) Kling of South Bend. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond D. Kruszewski on October 24, 2008. Yvonne retired from Memorial Hospital after thirteen years as a PCA. She also worked at the Notre Dame Ticket Office for fifteen years. She loved playing Bingo, shopping, laying in the sun, tending to her flowers, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved and cherished, and who all loved and cherished her. Yvonne was always giving and helping others, in any way. The family would like memorial contributions made to the Arthritis Foundation - Northern Indiana Branch, P.O. Box 8345, South Bend, IN 46600, and the family will also accept flowers. A Celebration of Yvonne's Life will take place on Monday, July 9, from 4:00-6:00P.M. at Hanley and Sons Funeral Home “Southwest Chapel” located at State Road 23/West Ireland Road, South Bend, and the Celebration Service will take place at 6:00 P.M. in the funeral home with Fr.
