Oral History Jim Piechorowski
Uncle Al worked for Studebakers for over 30 years. When the compamy moved out Al recieved a check for about $80 in full payment of his pension benefit. Frank A Piechorowski helped to get him a job at Notre Dame until the day he died. The pension problem at Studes brought about Federal Legislation which protects employees from a company raiding thier pension fund to stay in business.
