After a short battle with ALS, Susan Marie LeVeque, 70, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 3, 2012, surrounded by her family. She was born on November 23, 1941 in Mishawaka, IN to Oscar and Maxine (Smith) Bruegel. On October 1, 1960, Susan married Robert J. LeVeque, who survives. In addition to her husband, Robert, Susan is survived by a daughter, Renee (Eric) Johanson; son, Bernard LeVeque; grandchildren, Reagan and Clayton Johanson; sister, Donna (George) Hertz; and brothers in law, Stephen, Thomas and Peter LeVeque.
Susan worked alongside her husband for many years in real estate. She loved to travel, tailgate at Notre Dame games and Harley ride with her husband on beautiful summer days. She was blessed in life with family, friends, health, strength, love, laughter and happiness. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
