MISHAWAKA - Lucy D. Acrey, 97, of North Main Street, Mishawaka, passed away at 6:00 am on Sunday, August 2nd, 2015, at her home. She was born in South Bend, Indiana, to Joseph and Catheren Jamrozy, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Acrey. She is survived by her son, Charles (Janice) Acrey of Mishawaka. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Darren (Angela) Acrey, Lesley Acrey and Rick (Shannon) Acrey; five great-grandchildren, Hanna, Taylor, Brooklyn, Audrey and Charlie; along with one great-great- granddaughter, Eloise. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Lucy will be held at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, Indiana, on Friday, August 7th, 2015, where friends will be received from 11:00 am until the time of the services at 1:00 pm on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made in Lucy's name to Heartland Hospice, 230 W. Catalpa St., Mishawaka, Indiana 46545. The family wishes to thank Tom Gerald for all of his help during Lucy's illness.
