SOUTH BEND - Bertha J. Kusz, age 100, of Commerce, Michigan, formerly of South Bend, Indiana, died peacefully January 13, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Bert J. Kusz, and loving mother of Dorothy Nemeth of South Bend, IN, Virginia (the late Joseph) Fowler of Commerce Twp., MI, and Kathleen (James) Ungurait of Louisville, KY. Dear grandmother of Douglas and Scott Nemeth, Kevin Fowler, Brad and Keith Ungurait, and the late Kimberly Fowler Wulf. Bertha is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren. Bertha was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Serving the family is Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, Walled Lake.
