"OBITUARY"

OSCEOLA - Ruth L. Mazurkiewicz, 97, of Beech Road, died Thursday in her home of natural causes. Survivors include seven daughter, Katherine Besinger and Mary Geist both of Mishawaka, Doris Lehman, Loretta Marshall and JoAnn Ransberger, all of South Bend, Clara Stickles of Germantown, Tenn., and Helen Dudeck of Osceola; three sons, Matthew of South Bend, William J. of Chattanooga, Tenn., and John of Cut Bank, Mont., a sister, Dorothy Molebash of Elkhart; and a brother, Daniel Landaw of Mishawaka. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Tallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

"OBITUARY"
Ruth L. Mazurkiewicz, 97, of Beech Road, Osceola, Ind., passed away after a brief illness at 8:50 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, in her residence. Ruth was born on May 9, 1902, in South Bend, Ind., to the late Daniel E. and Lottie (Getz) Landaw.

On Aug. 20, 1919, Ruth married Matthew X. Mazurkiewicz, who preceded her in death on Feb. 9, 1952. She was also preceded in death by three grandsons, Scott Ransberger, George W. Dudeck and Ronald Lehman; a great-grandson, Christopher Mazurkiewicz; a great-great-grandson, Adam Bernicky; two sisters, Pansy Landaw and Donnabelle Watts; and by a brother, Edward Landaw. She is survived by seven daughters, Katherine (Frank) Besinger and Mary (Bill) Geist, both of Mishawaka, Doris Lehman, Loretta Marshall and JoAnn (Don) Ransberger, all of South Bend, Clara (Tom) Stickles of Germantown, Tenn., and Helen (George) Dudeck of Osceola, with whom she made her home; three sons, Matthew of South Bend, William J. (Maryann) of Chattanooga, Tenn., and John (Pat) of Cut Bank, Mont.; 31 grandchildren, 96 great-grandchildren and 55 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Molebash of Elkhart, Ind.; and by a brother, Daniel (Delores) Landaw of Mishawaka.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, July 25, in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, Mishawaka. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 26, in the funeral home, with Fr. Elder Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contribution may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
