SOUTH BEND - Stanley M. Ladewski, 90, of South Bend, passed away on May 12 in Hospice House. Survivors include his wife, Jeanne L. Ladewski; one daughter, Michaelle Ann Bartak; one granddaughter, Lisa Kaye (Paul) Bursch; and one borther, Eugene (Noreen) Ladewski. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am, Tuesday at St. Stanislaus Church. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Monday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr., where a parish rosary will be prayed at 3:30 pm.

SOUTH BEND - Stanley M. Ladewski, 90, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 3:42 p.m., Wednesday, May 12, 2010, in Hospice House. Stanley was born on May 6, 1920 in South Bend to Walter and Martha (Markowski) Ladewski. He retired in January 1985 after 35 years with R.W. Pool of Valparaiso, IN. He had also been employed with the former Hamilton Harris Company in South Bend. On August 24, 1944, in South Bend, he married Jeanne L. Claunch, who survives. Other surviving family members include his daughter, Michaelle Ann Bartak of Niles, MI; one granddaughter, Lisa Kaye (Paul) Bursch; one brother, Eugene (Noreen) Ladewski of South Haven, MI; and many nieces and nephews. Stanley was preceded in death by one daughter, Sue Ellen Ladewski; two sisters, Loretta Ladewski and Genevieve Speer; and one brother, Fr. Roman Ladewski, C.S.C. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in St. Stanislaus Church. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, where a parish rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. Stanley was a 1937 graduate of Central High School. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Parish and the past President of M.R. Falcons Nest 4 from 1954-1956. He enjoyed working in his yard.
