Mrs. Dolores F. (Smigiel) Barszewski passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, of 45 years; her parents, John and Jennie Smigiel; granddaughter, Janice Jean Odejewski; grandsons, Adam Miklusicak and Robbey Odejewski. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Kevin) Misiewicz of South Bend, IN, Rita Miklusicak and Jodee Barszewski; 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was a Catholic Central Alumni Class of '44, a Past Commander and Life Member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 2 Auxiliary. She also held many offices of the St. Ladislaus Society Auxiliary and was involved with Mt. Mercy Apartment Association. She loved to knit afghans for loved ones, she was an avid reader, loved the Theatre and loved to party. It was her wish to be cremated. Her family will receive visitors Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Arsulowicz Brothers, West Mortuary, 585 Stocking NW. A Memorial Service will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
