In 1874, Thomas Grzesk, in company with Peter Bucholtz, his brother-in-law and husband of Anna settled in South Bend and married a Antonina in St. Joseph;s (now St. Patrick's Church). Nine children were born of this untion: [I'm fairly sure that this listing is in desceding age order since I have a picture taken in about 1893 with severn of the nine children] - Leocadia (Chrobot), Leo, Walter, Julius, Wanda Mrozinski, Clara (Borlik), Salomea (Makielski) , Mary (Robakowski) and Xavier - later known as Ray for some reason. Of course, all these children would have been born in St. Joseph County.

Thomas was born on December 03, 1849 in Bislosiw in the province of Posen in what was then German-occupied Poland. . . . He died on November 27th, 1926

Sidebar info regarding the sister Anna , she was born Abt. 1842 and died November 21, 1933 in Duluth, MN and her husband, mentioned earlier, died in Duluth, MN on June 12, 1917. No children from this marriage. The death vitals, I got from the state of Minnesota's records.
