SOUTH BEND - Douglas J. Milewski, 55, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2010, in his residence. Douglas was born on December 22, 1954, in South Bend, to Joseph B. and Dolores (Labis) Milewski. He is survived by his parents; daughter, Erin Lawson of Kansas City, MS; son, Clinton Milewski of South Bend; grandchildren, Jazek, Sevenah and Lynzi; sisters, Kathy (Alex) Csenar of South Bend, Cheryl Guidi of Mishawaka and Patty (Drew) Holston of South Bend. Douglas was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Walter and Henrietta Labis, paternal grandparents, Theodore and Theresa Milewski, and brother-in-law, Kim Guidi. Douglas worked in maintenance as a HVAC engineer. He was employed at O'Brien's Paint Corporation and the Logan Center. He enjoyed cards and loved to fish. He was a fan of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and Notre Dame. He was a member of the Chain-O-Lakes Conversation Club. He also served in the United States Air Force. Visitation will take place from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. today, September 16, 2010, in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 17, 2010, in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
