SOUTH BEND - Mary Ann Hill-Domke, 74, of South Bend, died Wednesday May 10, 2017 at the Center for Hospice Care in South Bend. The Mishawaka native was born November 15, 1942 to Jerome & Beatrice (Geist) Nix. Mary Ann was a loving & caring mother and a devoted wife, who was known for her wonderful sense of humor. She was a fan of Notre Dame and Dallas Cowboys football and enjoyed travelling and trying her luck at an occasional visit to the casinos. Survivors include her husband, Alan M. Domke, Sr.; her children, Bob Newcomer of Mishawaka, Lori (Nick) Russo of South Bend and Michele (Chad) Nagy of Granger; her sister, Joan Hatton of Mishawaka; brother, Tom Nix in Washington State; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was also preceded in death by her brother, Jim Nix. Funeral Services 7:00 Saturday May 13, 2017 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Saturday in the funeral home. Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
