SOUTH BEND - Dolores J. Strzelecki, 85, passed away at 3:00 pm Thursday, July 24, 2014, in the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Dolores was born August 2, 1928, in Mishawaka, IN, to the late Stephen and Hattie (Ozdych) Jerzakowski. On February 4, 1950, in Mishawaka, Dolores married John Strzelecki, who preceded her in death in 1977. Survivors include son, Edward (Kelly) Strzelecki of Osceola, IN; son, Laurence (Teresa) Aimer of Beaverton, OR, son, Charles Strzelecki of South Bend, IN; daughter, Nancy (Jim) Ferguson of South Bend, IN, daughter, Carol Lewis of South Bend, IN; grandchildren, Mike (Sarah), Scott, Courtney (Brad), Ryan, Dallas, Andrew, Caitlyn, Kayle, T.J., Abby, Josh, Allie and Matt; and great-grandchildren, Colin, Maura, Noah and Evan. Dolores was an avid reader and loved solving puzzles. Most of all, she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
