SOUTH BEND, IN - Marcia Jean Rybicki, 61, of South Bend, IN, passed away on November 2, 2018, at her home with her loving and caring family at her bedside, after fighting a courageous battle against cancer. Marcia was born on December 26, 1956, in Mishawaka, IN, to the late Joseph and Betty (Stiffler) Hunter. Marcia is survived by her husband, Patrick Rybicki and their 3 daughters, Melissa Rybicki and her companion Abe Bliss, Michelle Rybicki and her companion Eric Wruble, and Nicole Rybicki and her companion Adam Szalai all from Mishawaka, IN. Marcia was a loving grandmother to 6 grandchildren, Jonathon, Benjamin, Madelynn, Dylan, Colin, and Devin. Marcia is preceded in death by her grandson, Rhett Bliss who passed away on March 5, 2010. She is also survived by 2 brothers, David (Kathryn) Hunter of South Bend and James (Cindy) Hunter; and a sister, JoAnn Ward both from Mishawaka, IN. Marcia loved gardening, cooking, and celebrating holidays and birthdays with her family. Her daughters said that their mother was the hardest working, most loving, and most caring person that they have ever known. Marcia was an Office Manager at the South Bend Clinic, until she was unable to work due to her illness. The family will receive friends from 4-8pm Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, IN. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm, with Chaplain Arlin Cochran officiating on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray the funeral expense.
