SOUTH BEND - Alex S. Kovasics, 95, passed away Monday, September 7, in his residence. Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn M. Tihen, and a sister, Margaret Beres, both of South Bend. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Kovasics, and four sisters, Mary Lott, Elizabeth Toth, Rose Kovacsics and Theresa Kovacsics. Private funeral services will be conducted with burial at Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to the Humane Society.
