Son of John Nagy and Veronica Veger Nagy. Brother of John Steven Nagy, Agnes Nagy Flynn, Alexander John Nagy, Joseph Nagy and Veronica Nagy (died as infant). Husband of Anna M. Zugonits Nagy. Obituary from South Bend Tribune dated 11 September 1978. "Eugene Nagy, 74, of 902 Evergreen, died at 7:17 a.m. Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was a retired Studebaker employee. Nagy was born on May 4, 1904 in Joliet, Ill. and lived in this area for 73 years after coming from Joliet. In 1930 he married Anna M. Zugonitz, who survives. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Agnes Flynn and a brother, Alex, both of South Bend. Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Zahoran Funeral Home with Msgr. John Sabo, pastor of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. "
