SOUTH BEND - Adele M. Kukla-Schreiber, 95, residing in South Bend, passed away at 3:50 p.m. Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Sanctuary at St. Paul's. She was born December 16, 1918 in Chicago, IL, a daughter of Frank & Lucille (Palczynksi) Schreiber, and moved to South Bend when she was 16 years old. Adele attended the Michiana College of Commerce, and retired from Honeywell Corp., and was a member of St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church. She taught dancing at Arthur Murray Dance Studio, and enjoyed playing the piano and accordion. She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 50, and Fraternal Order of Eagles. She enjoyed playing the piano during Happy Hour on Friday's at St. Paul's. She is survived by her daughters, Rozanne Zarembka of Mishawaka and Susan (Robert) Skelton of Bremen, and her son, Norman (Patricia) Kukla of South Bend, along with twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Virginia Fetters of Mishawaka, and her last surviving cousin, Ray (Carol) Palczynski of Glenview, IL. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Norbert, and a sister, Esther Hutchinson. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 10, in the Chapel at the Sanctuary at St. Paul's. Graveside services and burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services Friday at St. Paul's. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Contributions in memory of Adele M.
