South Bend - Harold Ullery, 70, passed away at 4:56pm, Friday, December 10, 2021 in Memorial Hospital. Harold was born April 8, 1951 in South Bend to the late John and Mary (Bonk) Ullery. Harold was also preceded in death by a daughter, Shauna Marie Ullery. On October 15, 1994, Harold married Lauriana (Kuczmanski) Ullery. She survives along with his children, Timothy (Jessica) Ullery, Lisa (Matthew) Black, and Annamarie (Jesse) Weddell; grandchildren, Alexis, Josie, & Sophie Ullery, and Damon & Devin Black; Godchild, Frederick Morrow Jr.; siblings, Marlene Marrow, Elizabeth Piechocki, John (Sheena) Ullery, Nancy Woolverton, Duane (Debbie) Ullery, and Ronald Ullery; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Harold honorably served his country in the United States Army National Guard. He was a member of DAV, VFW, Army Navy, Garrison 146, American Legion Post 50, Chain-O-Lakes, Firefighters, and UAW Local 5. Harold was an avid N.Y. Yankees fan. He was well known on the West Side as a funny, friendly, jokester. Once you were his friend, you were a friend for life. Harold would help anyone he could. He enjoyed driving his Mustang, it was his baby. He also enjoyed social gatherings, going to the casino, and watching ND with friends. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Harold’s life on Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm, beginning with a funeral service officiated by Father Charles Zawistowski of St. Mary’s PNCC at 3:00pm at the Chain-O-Lakes Conservation Club, 26230 Southport Dr., South Bend, IN 46628.
