Stephen Kubiak, 51, passed away Friday, May 8, 2020 at his home. Stephen was born July 29, 1968 in Okinawa, Japan to Thomas and Hatsuko (Miyagi) Kubiak. Stephen worked for the Sanitation Department with the City of South Bend. He was a member of the Teamsters Union. Stephen loved Notre Dame Football and never met a stranger, just friends he hasn’t met yet. Along with his parents, Stephen is survived by his daughter, Kirstyn Kubiak and brothers, Jeffrey (Martina) Kubiak and Robert (LaShaunta) Kubiak. Per the wishes of the family, there will be no services for Stephen. Palmer Funeral Home - River Park Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
