Maxine Elizabeth Futterknecht, 87, of Delorenzi in Mishawaka, IN passed away on September 29, 2001 at St. Joseph Community Hospital in Mishawaka, IN.
Maxine was born on July 22, 1914 in Bakersfield, California to Merle and Rena (Dibble) Wilkinson. Both have preceded her in death. Maxine leaves to cherish her memories to her daughter, Marilyn Kay Lutz of Mishawaka. Her sister Lois Funnell of Osceola, IN grandsons Stephen (Sheri) Lutz of Mishawka, IN, David (Lyn) Lutz of Powell, Ohio, grandchildren, Chris, Melody, Bryan and Erik Lutz, great granddaughter, Chole Lutz. Maxine was retired from Dunn Communication as a Telephone Answering Service Employee. She also had a great love for being with her grand children and great grandchildren and preparing food for holiday gatherings and doing things for others. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, IN.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to American Red Cross Hospice of St. Joseph County or to the donors choice.
