From the SOUTH BEND (IN) TRIBUNE, June 23, 1956:

Emery Voros, 1302 S. Franklin St., died at 7:55 a.m. today in his residence after five weeks illness. He was born Aug. 28, 1878, in Sopron, Megye, Hungary, and came here 55 years ago from there. In South Bend in 1910 he married Elizabeth Takach, who died in 1951. He was a retired Oliver Corp. employee. Surviving are two sons, John L. and Stephen J. Voros; two step-sons, Joseph and Emery Takach; a step-daughter, Mrs. Katherine Koczan; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, all of South Bend, and a sister in Hungary. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday in the Zahoran Funeral Home.
