[N16126] BENIFIEL 60TH SOUTH BEND -- The 60th anniversary of Alvina "Eileen" and Philip Benifiel of South Bend will be celebrated May 19 with a renewal of vows at 4:30 p.m. at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, and a family dinner at Millennium Steakhouse, Niles. Philip Benifiel and Eileen Romanowski married May 17, 1947, at St. Casimir Catholic Church. They have two children, Sheryl Coffman and Dr. Bruce, both of Granger. They also have three grandchildren and one step-grandson. Mr. Benifiel retired as a supervisor after 41 years with the former Indiana & Michigan Electric Co. He and Mrs. Benifiel have lived in South Bend all of their lives.
