SOUTH BEND - Ryan V. Baker, 34, residing in South Bend, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday evening, January 17, 2017, at his home. He was born on March 20, 1982, in South Bend, to Robert Baker and Kathy Jean (Korlowicz) Baker. Ryan is survived by his mother, Kathy (Bart) Williams ,and his father, Robert Baker; grandmother, Peggy Korlowicz; sisters, Jessica (John) McDaniel and Clara Williams; brothers, Nick Williams and Brandon Williams; aunt, Lola Baker; uncles, Larry (Ginger) Korlowicz, Ron (Helen) Baker, and Tim Williams; nephew, Noah; niece, Hannah; and his cousins, Caleb and Nicole. Ryan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry Korlowicz; grandmother, Naomi Baker; grandfather, Charles Baker; aunt, Donna Buwa; uncles, David Korlowicz and Doug Baker; and nephew, Tyler McDaniel. Ryan was a huge fan of Notre Dame football and basketball, the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, watching WWE Wrestling on television, and had a knack for landscaping. Throughout his life, he was known as a fighter. He loved his family and friends and he was loved by all. Ryan will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, January 20, 2017, at Highland Cemetery, South Bend, IN.
