August Gus Baldini, 84, of Countryside Place, died at 1:35 a.m. today in St. Joseph Hospital. Mr. Baldini retired in 1980 from the Mishawaka Parks Department and was an employee of the Studebaker Corp. for 33 years. He was born Sept. 25, 1907, in Santarcangello, Di Romanna, Italy, and lived in Mishawaka since 1925, coming from Fort Dodge, Iowa. On June 1, 1929, in Mishawaka, he married Helen Ann Maggioli. She died Feb. 21, 1988. He is survived by a son, Fred of Mishawaka; two grandsons; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Clara Gardini of Mishawaka and Olga Proto of Connecticut. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and DeAmicis Club. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home, where a rosary will be said at 3:30

On June 1, 1929, in Mishawaka, he married Helen Ann Maggioli. She died Feb. 21, 1988.
