Stella M. Botka, 85, formerly of South Bendix Drive, South Bend, Ind., died at 11:20 a.m. on Friday, April 13, in the Regency Nursing Home. She had been a lifelong resident of South Bend. Mrs. Botka was born on Nov. 4, 1915, in South Bend, to Simon and Catherine (Czapla) Pishnoff, who both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Cast; and by a brother, Henry Pishnoff. She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Cohee of South Carolina; a son, Ervin (Marilyn) Botka; a sister, Margaret Botka; two brothers, John (Helen) Pishnoff and Edward (Nancy) Pishnoff, all of South Bend; and by eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
