Granger, IN-Naomi A. DeNeve, 95, formally of Bradenton, FL, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Granger, IN. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her hobbies included playing bingo, knitting, cooking, traveling, reading, and playing cards such as Euchre and Bridge. Naomi was born on December 16, 1925, as the daughter to Leo and Martha (Beech) Replogle. She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Betty and one brother, Richard. On February 19, 1949, at St. Bavo Catholic Church in Mishawaka she married Francis “Frank” A. DeNeve who preceded her in death on March 26, 2019. She is survived by her two children, Michael DeNeve of Missoula, MT and Pamela (Russell) Burmeister of Edwardsburg, MI; two grandchildren, Bryan (Ashley) Burmeister of Wentzville, MO and Chad (Brittany) Burmeister of Edwardsburg, MI; and 6 great-grandchildren, Rory, Liam, Logan, Emmee, Jase and Blake Burmeister. Naomi worked for the Unemployment Office in South Bend before marriage, was a wife and a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradenton, FL and Our Lady of the Lake in Edwardsburg, MI. Visitation will be 3-6 pm Thursday, July 8th at Hahn Funeral Home in Mishawaka where a rosary will be recited at 5 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am Friday, July 9th at St. Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka with Rev. Pete Pacini CSC officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Naomi’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 and The Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
