South Bend - Brenda Jo Cenkush, 72, passed away on Monday at Trailpoint Village. Brenda was born May 13, 1950 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Edward and Dolores (Shomler) Cenkush. Brenda is survived by her son, Andrew Cenkush, per precious grandson, Edward F. Cenkush; a sister, Marsha Cenkush, brothers, Edward (Frances) Cenkush, Jr. and Robert (Karen) Cenkush; and may other dear family and friends. Brenda was a member of the First English Evangelical Lutheran Church and worked as a respiratory therapist in the Michiana area for many years. She had a very big heart and enjoyed helping others. Brenda loved her family and dog, Rex very much, but the absolute joy and love of her life was her grandson, Edward. Visitation will be Friday July 29, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd followed by a Funeral ceremony to begin at 7:00 pm. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
