SOUTH BEND - Bruce A. Krieg, 50, passed away suddenly after a brief illness on June 30, 2016 in the Hospice House of St. Joseph County. Bruce was born March 19, 1966 in South Bend, Indiana to Jack and Shirley (Lawson) Krieg; they survive along with his children, Melissa (Matthew) Jones of Colorado Springs, and Brent Krieg of South Bend; brother, Brian (Kathie) Krieg of South Bend; sister, Felecia (John) Buda of South Bend; 5 grandchildren, Adrian, Kai, Madeleine, Keoni, and Keegan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bruce was a Laborer and a member of the Local 645 Union Hall. He was a member of Bowlers Country Club. Bruce enjoyed bowling, fishing, grilling, bonfires, and fireworks on the 4th of July, and was a fan of Classic Rock N Roll. Bruce made sure his parents were taken care of and always helped out his neighbors. Most of all, Bruce had a great sense of humor.
Visitation for Bruce is 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
