MISHAWAKA - Tina Marie Allen Durski, age 51, of Mishawaka, passed away September 7, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Tina was born March 13, 1960. On September 5, 1981, she married Robert Durski at Batell Park in Mishawaka. They had just celebrated 30 years of marriage. Surviving is her husband, Robert Durski of Mishawaka, and their children, Kristin Pressler and her husband Brad of Elkhart, Christopher Durski of Evansville, IN, and Krista Durski of Mishawaka. Tina is also survived by her grandson, Chase Pressler, whom she loved and adored. Surviving as well is her brother-in-law Brad Durski and his wife Karen, her niece Selena Reim and her husband Andy, her nephew Joe Durski, and her great niece and nephew Alexis and Aiden Reim. Tina was preceded in death by her son, Shannon Stevens, her mother and step-father, Joyce and Richard Burr, and her grandmother, Ruth Lucas. Visitation will be held from 2-7 pm Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, Sept. 12, 2011 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Tina was a graduate of Washington High School, class of 1978. She was first employed by K-Mart in South Bend, then McKinley Hardware and Tru Value Hardware before she began working for the Wholesale Club (now Sam's Club) in Mishawaka. From there, Tina began working at the University of Notre Dame where she assisted with the production of meal plans and I.D. badges for the staff and students. Her final job at the University was as Administrative Assistant to the Band, a job she truly loved. In her spare time, she enjoyed photography, attending auctions, and shopping from QVC. She also loved to watch her kids perform with the Penn High School Marching Band, and watching her "adopted" kids play in the University of Notre Dame Marching Band. "LET'S GO IRISH!!!" The Durski family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Rudolph Navari and his nursing staff, especially Diane, at the Center for Cancer Care for all of their help, care and concern for Tina during her time of need. Online condolences may be sent to the Durski family at www.chapelhillmem orial.com
