SOUTH BEND - JoAnn (Borowski) Fabiszak passed away Tuesday, December 8, at her home in Fort Myers, FL.
She was born April 21, 1939, in South Bend, to LaVern and Irene (Vargo) Buss. On September 5, 1959, she married Eugene Borowski. He died February 10, 1991. On December 23, 2001, she married Ronald Fabiszak, who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters, Christine (Joseph) Meyer of Elkhart and Natalie (Rodney) Kahl of Bradley, IL; 3 stepchildren, Cindy (Rick) Kelver of South Bend, Andy Fabiszak of Mishawaka and Ronnie Fabiszak of South Bend; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. JoAnn had a passion for flowers and flower arranging. Her parents owned the former Riverside Floral. She worked at Homemaker Shop and Gates Chevrolet before she retired and moved to Fort Myers, FL. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and at the beach, and watching cooking shows. Visitation will be Sunday, December 13th, from 2-5 pm at Welsheimer Family Funeral Home, 17033 Cleveland Road, South Bend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Monday, December 14th, in Christ the King Catholic Church, 52473 State Rd. 933.
