Jill Ann Boepple, 60, of Edwardsburg, passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2022, surrounded by family, after a lengthy and heroic journey with Ebstein Anomaly. Jill was born on December 26th, 1961 in Niles, Michigan to Richard and Jo-Ann Boepple. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jo-Ann Boepple, brother Jim Boepple, and brother-in-law, Rex Adams. She is survived by her father, Richard Boepple; siblings, Janet Adams, and John Boepple; nieces and nephew, Julie (Pedro) Cisneros, Noelle (Andrew) Bullard, Leah (Ross) Freedenberg, Lindsey (Tim) Stone, and Corey Boepple; great-nieces and nephews, Samson, Levi, Abner, and Elliot Cisneros, Miriam and Everett Bullard, Simon Freedenberg, and Alexis and Abigail Stone; cousins, extended family, and many friends. Jill was a graduate of Edwardsburg High School and Arizona State University. She loved psychology, and completed coursework at National Louis University towards a master's degree in developmental psychology. Additionally, she completed one year of courses at the Chicago Institute of Art MA program. Jill was drawn to areas in which she could serve others, and spent the majority of her career working tirelessly as a director for the Goodwill Corporation in Chicago, where she was invaluable in helping underserved populations develop skills to improve their lives. Born the day after Christmas, Jill loved the holiday season, and was known for her elaborate wrapping paper collection and skills, which further inspired her to host an annual Christmas "gift wrapping" party, characterized by laughter, cheer, and Jill's signature green spritz cookies. She had an eye for art and the stage, and spent her teen and early adult years engaging in broadcasting and local performing arts groups, including Barnswallow Theatre and the local television series Beyond Our Control. Jill was an avid collector, and notably cherished her collection of M&M's memorabilia, including a red M&M's costume that she wore with pride. She also loved to travel, and, in particular, treasured time spent with loved ones in Ireland, Italy, and France. Jill deeply loved her family and friends, and she was genuinely invested in others' happiness and wellbeing. When her brother was ill, Jill chose to retire early to act as full-time caregiver for her brother and father, a role that added a profound sense of meaning to her life and exemplified her giving and generous nature. She had a goofy sense of humor, big heart, and an unfailingly positive attitude towards life. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
